Production update, and a FREE ship

Hi Backers,

Finally we have a production update. 

CASTING: We spoke with the caster. The main reason for the delay has been that a lot of master models had to be tweaked to adapt them to the casting technology. Anyway, all is set now and the caster confirmed that they will have completed the casting by the end of summer – so the game will begin shipping in September. We will be more accurate as soon as we have a shipping schedule. The caster will send us production photos in mid July. 

FREE SHIP:  As a thank you for your patience, the caster will add a new ship, for FREE, to all pledges with a physical reward. This is the Warbler, a new ship for the ConStar faction. Here is a painted production model: 

 PDF: Damon is reviewing the book one last time double checking the point costs. Andrea will be sending the updated PDF on June 29th. We will send a backers-only update with a link to download the PDF and the cards. 

 After sending it to you backers, the PDF will be put on sale on our stores. 

PRINTED BOOK AND CARDS: The book and cards will go to print in the first week of August. Andrea will take care of any feedback on the rules, so if you spot an area that is still in need of a clarification, or if you see a typo or a formatting error that escaped our proofreaders, please let us know and it will be corrected.

Hi backers,

just a quick update to let you know the layout on the revised rulebook has been completed, and a proofreader is checking the new pages for any typos or inconsistencies, so we will share this with you soon (I guess Monday or Tuesday, depending on when I get back the proofreader's notes).

Star Eagles cards going to print next week

Hi backers,

Andrea here. Sorry for the long silence, as you may know I am still recovering from stomach surgery. All is good but I have to relearn to eat, and preparing and eating my meals takes a lot of time every day. However, we will be sending the cards to the printer at the beginning of next week, so I wanted to share with you some of the designs.

 The actual cards will have rounded corners (here you see the full images, including the area that is trimmed as part of the card production process).

Damon (who is currently traveling) will soon chime in with details on the delivery schedule. Printing the cards should take about a week.

Aimee has sent in more pics of ships and we just wanted to share them with you. These will be used both on ship cards and in the rulebook. We hope they could serve as inspiration to paint the models in consistent paint schemes.
